Caramanico Terme
The old mountain village Caramanico Terme in Abruzzo is located in a spectacular mountain landscape between two valleys. The village is an old health resort with a famous SPA where many Italians come for rehabilitation. Caramanico Terme is widely known for its fresh, clear air and healthy water. It is also one of the main towns in Majella National Park and is therefore a natural starting point for further explorations of the national park.
In Caramanico you will find everything you need for a wonderful holiday! Bakeries, green grocers and butchers to buy authentic Italian food from the region; bank, pharmacy and a few smaller shops are found as well. A few hotels, B&B, restaurants, pizzerias, bars and of course ice cream parlours are all located in the village. Caramanico is well equipped for its small size! Centrally located in the village there is a public swimming pool for a cooling dip after a day in the mountains!
